Too Deep for Words or Tears

Bishop John A T Robinson visited a 16 year old girl dying of cancer. He and Brigie’s mother arranged a service of prayer for Brigie, and Janet the mother says it helped her understand “that peace and trust are more important than physical survival.”

What a remarkable statement of faith when your daughter is dying!

At the funeral, Bishop Robinson said, “We are here this morning…to go down, as it were, to the water-table, to resources too deep for words or for tears.”
